My Top 7 belly busting SUPER foods
Heeyyyyy there…hope you are doing awesome
I wanted to send you this quick little Friday post. I’m headin off to Punta Cana this Sunday and I wanted help you navigate through the next couple of weeks aka. “The Holidays”
“The Holidays” is where everyone packs on the pounds in the belly…they say the average North American gains about 15 pounds of fat during “The Holidays”
So this list will help guide you through that time and will help you lose the belly fat instead of gain it during the holidays.
Top 7 Foods for blasting that belly fat
#1 Water – Okay it’s not a food, you got me. Just remember that a dehydrated body is not a good environment for fat loss and drinking more water keeps us full so we don’t grab for seconds at the dinner table.
*Keep yourself to 2 litres a day and replace your juices and cokes for this liquid instead
#2 Eggs – Eggs are high in Omega 3 Fatty acids (good) and also high in protein (good for building muscle). It’s also cheap to buy at the grocery store!
#3 Essential Fatty Acids (EFA’s) – You should be taking these every single day. They not only help with keeping you lean, they also reduce stress and pain in your joints. A must take supplement.
#4 Berries – I love raspberries and blueberries and you should too because they are rich in antioxidants and high in fibre. A great substitution for cake and ice cream when it comes to desert time
#5 Greens (Spinach, Broccoli, Kale etc.) – Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre and low in calories. If your plate is not filled with these then you are making a big mistake.
* Eat as much as you want of these. Don’t hold back.
#6 Fish – It’s an awesome source of good fats and also high in protein. They taste awesome yummy too. Can’t go wrong here.
#7 Sweet Potatoes – The best “carb” you can possibly eat. You get amino acids, good fats, vitamins and anti oxidants all from this one little potato.
*These are awesome to eat after workouts…btw I think I have said “awesome” like 10 billion times in one post. I love that word!
So there are my 7 staple foods for rapid fat loss. Just a little tip: Make sure you stay on the outer ends of the grocery store when going shopping.
Also stay completely away from processed foods and drinks that contain calories. Doing that alone will help you drop pounds this holiday season.
Hope you enjoyed this email. I’m off to the sunny beaches of Punta Cana but rest assured I will be talking to you at least once
while I’m down there.
Stay tuned for the next email because I’ll be talking about a couple of unique techniques to reduce your waistline. One involves a
simple stretch and the other is…just plain weird 😛
